Cinde has extensive experience as a legal secretary/paralegal, with a primary focus on litigation support. She joined the Firm in 1997 and has helped manage and organize complex cases often involving multiple plaintiffs and defendants and thousands of documents.

EXPERIENCE
Kim Madsen has worked with the Firm as a legal secretary since 1994. Much of her experience has been in litigation support. She was the coordinating legal secretary on the Blackwater case which involved more than 25 plaintiffs, several defendants, and thousands of documents. She also assisted with the preparation of Delgamuukw when it proceeded to the Supreme Court of Canada.
Kim is a key part of our legal team. She is strongly committed to assisting with aboriginal rights cases seeking beneficial remedies for our clients.
BACKGROUND
Kim is a Gitxsan person and a member of the House of Delgamuukw. She lives near Hazelton in Gitxsan territory in northern British Columbia.

Marjorie White

Marjorie White started working in the accounting department on a contract basis with Peter Grant & Associates in 1999 and joined the office in 2002. Marjorie oversees all aspects of the accounting for Peter Grant & Associates.

Amy Abrahamson

Amy Abrahamson joined our firm in February, 2007. She works with Allan Early and Brian O’Reilly on our Residential School Claims. She also works with Peter Grant on litigation issues and with respect to his work on the National Administration Committee which is mandated to deal with the Indian Residential School Settlement. She is also the liaison person for Independent Counsel who are a group that works on the Indian Residential School claims.

Paul Silvey

Background
Paul is a member of the Sechelt Nation and focused his studies on Aboriginal Law following a career in mining in Canada’s Yukon and Northwest Territories.
Prior to Articling at Peter Grant & Associates, his law school experiences included working for the Nunavut Court of Justice where he performed general clerking duties for the Judges Chambers and participated in an exchange term at Arizona State University College of Law where he studied Federal Indian Law and was a student Attorney in Arizona Tribal Courts through the Indian Legal Clinic.
